PHOTOGRAPHY: #imaginedragonsphotos

A few days ago a friend of mine told me that the band Imagine Dragons started a competition for the video for their song “Hear Me”. You had to choose a word from the song and visualise that word in an instagram picture. Their favourite pictures will be featured in the lyric video for the song. Since we’re both big fans of the band we decided to join the competition and of course we hope we’ll get featured in the video. Here are the pictures.

(and if you like the pictures,  you can follow me on instagram! My instagram name is: IsItAlba)

This is my friend Maartje in our picture for the word ‘asleep’.

And this is me running trough the park near my house. I had to run up and down for about 10 or more times before we got a picture where I didn’t look like a little kid who was making flying gestures. Well, we still had fun making the picture! This was for the word ‘run’.

MUSIC #6

And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.

This song by The Smiths is too beautiful not to mention it. I’ve been listening to it a lot lately, and it kind of describes my feelings at the moment. I feel a bit ill and I really want to go to sleep, but instead I’m going to make my homework after I’ve written this.

I couldn’t really find a perfectly amazing video for the song on YouTube, but I quite liked this video. I’ve always wanted to make a music video for a song, so maybe I’ll make a video for this song once.

The quote in the beginning of this post is from the book The Perks Of Being A Wallfower. I know a lot of people don’t like it that this book is always mentioned when people are talking about the song. I’m sorry for that, but the book was amazing and it showed me this amazing song. So thank you Stephen Chbosky! The film from Perks is coming out in The Netherlands on the 25th of october and I’m very excited. I’m almost sure it isn’t going to be as good as the book, because that’s always the case when books are turned into films, but I hope it will be a good movie. Emma Watson is playing in it and Asleep is in the soundtrack, so I’ll say that that are some good signs!

The Book.

The Film.
